Claessen Blue™ Moves Closer to Real Denim Production at Kingpins Amsterdam
Kingpins Amsterdam advanced Claessen Blue™ toward scalable denim production through practical dialogue on finishing performance, stability and line compatibility.
At Kingpins Show Amsterdam, Chloris brought Claessen Blue™ one step closer to real denim production.
Over two days at Jeanius Hub, we had the opportunity to engage with brands, mills, and industry partners from across the global denim community.
What we brought to Amsterdam was not simply another update in shade, but a more mature expression of how Claessen Blue™ is evolving within the denim process.
The conversation quickly moved beyond color alone. What mattered was how the blue performs in practice: its balance in tone, its behavior through oxygen, ozone, and laser finishing, its anti-yellowing stability in lighter and vintage washes, and its compatibility with existing production lines.
These are the factors that determine whether a new blue can move from sample stage into scalable use. To create meaningful change in denim, sustainability must be matched by performance and production readiness.
Kingpins Amsterdam was an important moment for exchange. What matters even more is how these discussions continue through development, validation, and real manufacturing applications.
Thank you to everyone who spent time with us in Amsterdam. We look forward to continuing the conversation in the context that matters most: product and production.
